TOWNSVILLE EARLY HOLDEN CLUB
We are the only Early Holden club in North Queensland and have been established since 1987. Although we are based in Townsville, our membership stretches from the Atherton Tablelands in the Far North to Bowen in the South and Richmond in the West.
Our emphasis is on being a social club where all Holden lovers can get together and enjoy others company and yarns. Social outings, overnight camping runs, and club runs with other clubs occur frequently and we actively participate in motor shows.
Membership is open to anyone who owns a Holden of any age, body style; either standard, modified, show car or daily driver. Club member’s cars may also be eligible for classic historic vehicle registration and / or a reduction in the cost of insurance premiums
Club meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Training Rooms of Tony Ireland Townsville, Cnr Woolcock St & Duckworth St, Garbutt QLD. Supper is provided.
Annual dues are $40 and are due 30th June each year. Club shirts, stickers etc. may be purchased to promote the club. Members also have the opportunity to network, often providing access to invaluable knowledge and a source of hard to get parts.
Our newsletter is published monthly for the members and all information and classified ads should be addressed to the editor
A "Show 'n' Shine", hosted by the Townsville Early Holden club, is set down for the middle of each year.
So.. If you are interested in preserving, restoring, modifying, driving or just admiring the General's Australian product, you will find others in the Club with similar interests. Come along and enjoy!
